JUNE 2, 2016, SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
The Stanton School District Board of Directors met at 12:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2016, in the Board Room for a regular session. President Brian Bates called the meeting to order with Directors Mark Lindgren and Tom Weis present. Additional attendees were Superintendent Chris Herrick and Board Secretary Tammy Boyer.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Director Weis made a motion to approve the agenda with a second by Director Lindgren. The motion carried unanimously.
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ADDENDUM TO BASEBALL/SOFTBALL FIELD ACQUISITION
Director Weis made a motion to approve the following resolution with a second by Director Lindgren.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the proposal for transfer of the real property described above to the Stanton Community School District as a gift for use in carrying out its public purposes Is hereby approved and authorized in full, SUBJECT TO acceptance by the Stanton Community School District of the condition attached to the transfer requiring the school district to re-convey the property to the city of Stanton, without consideration, and for its public purposes, in the event the school district dissolves.
The motion carried unanimously.
DISCUSSION-OTHER
Superintendent Herrick updated the board on ADA Compliance and summer projects.

President Bates adjourned the meeting at 12:30 PM.
