8th Grade Community Service Project
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Wednesday, September 23rd, our 8th graders had the opportunity to complete a community service project in partnership with the City of Stanton community development organization. Jenna Ramsey, along with city employees and others, discussed and demonstrated how to plant trees and explained why it is important to plant trees in the community. We then broke into two groups to plant a total of 27 trees at Anderson Park, the Danny Anderson field, and near the new preschool playground. This was a great learning experience and partnership between the Stanton Community School District and the City of Stanton. Thank you to all involved who made this event possible!
