FCCLA Blood Drive

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Liver Awareness Month. The Red Cross urges donors of all blood types to give blood and support patients fighting cancer, undergoing transplant surgeries and facing other serious illnesses. More than 1.7 million people are expected to be diagnosed with cancer this year. Many of them will need blood, sometimes daily, while undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Liver transplants are the second most common type of organ transplant. More than 30 units of blood may be needed during a liver transplant. Be an MVP at your upcoming blood drive!
