We want to welcome everyone back for the 2021-22 school year. Please see the following information which
outlines our most current guidance:
COVID-19 Guidance:
1. Per Iowa Code, mask wearing will be optional for all students, staff, and visitors while at school, during
school events, and while on district transportation.
2. Students and staff that are considered to have been in close contact with a positive case will not have to
quarantine, regardless of mask usage.
3. If a student or staff member tests positive for COVID-19, they will need to follow the guidelines set forth
by the Iowa Department of Public Health:
a. COVID-19 positive persons can return to normal activities after: 10 days since symptoms first
appeared and 24 hours with no fever (without the use of fever-reducing medications).
Stanton Schools will continue to implement enhanced cleaning protocols on a daily basis, and monitor the health
and safety of our students and staff throughout the year.
