AIM Conference, Agriculture, Industry, and Mechanics


Nine Stanton Juniors and Seniors were able to attend this conference with Mrs. Mainquist this year.
The Agriculture, Industry, and Mechanics (AIM) Conference is designed for High School students interested in the trades profession. This conference allows students to attend sessions taught by Southwest Iowa professionals across the trades field. This conference is hosted by Agrivision, AKS, Eastside, Inc., EZ Way, Iowa Western Community College, Lisle Corporation, NSK, Page County Fair Board, Pella, and Keane Thummel Trucking Inc.

Some of the areas that could be attened were…. Animal Genetics, Electro Maintenance, Corporate Farmer, Agronomist, Diesel Mechanic, Electrician, Land Stewardship, Mock Interview, CEAM Manufacturing Lab Activities Building (Center of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing Lab), Plumber, Ag Service Tech, Entry Level Production, Purchasing, Money Game, Industrial Maintenance, Animal Nutrition, Truck Driver, Engineer, Ag Precision , HVAC, Sales / Marketing, Auto Mechanic, Veterinarian / Vet Tech, Welding , Metal 3D Printing, Management, Auto Body, Lean Manufacturing, and Carpenter.
