Viking Center Upcoming Events & Information

 

Junior High Volleyball Tournament @ Stanton, Saturday October 14th

-        The Viking Center will be hosting a junior high volleyball tournament here in Stanton on Saturday October 14th.  We will have 6 teams coming to town where we will play a 3 game guarantee bracket tournament beginning at 8:30am.  We are seeking volunteers to help with taking money, officiating, line judging and running scoreboards.  The tournament should not last much into the afternoon.  If you are interested in helping, please contact the Viking Center.  Your help is greatly appreciated in advance!  A full schedule will be available by the end of this week.

 

MCMH Offering FREE Flu Shots @ the Viking Center:  Monday October 16th, 10:30am-11:30am

-        On Monday October 16th from 10:30am-11:30am the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital will be offering FREE flu shots (high dose and quadrivalent) for ADULTS ONLY.  If you have any interest in this, please contact Justin at the Viking Center at 712-829-2900 to RSVP.

 

Youth Basketball Coaches Needed – 3rd/4th grades Boys & Girls

-        The Viking Center is currently seeking basketball coaches for 3rd/4th grade boys & girls for the upcoming year.  The season will run from early December through February 2018.  There will be a camp offered in mid-November for both boys and girls in grades 3rd-6th prior to the season beginning.  Practices will begin in December with games/tournaments held on Saturday’s throughout January and February.  If you are interested in being a coach or have any questions, please contact Justin at the Viking Center.
