Quiz Bowl Thursday Dec. 8
2:00 in Mr. Epp's room
The quiz bowl team (Abby V, Camden, Austin, Noah, Andrew H) will have a match with the South Page Team. The team should be dismissed from class at 2:00, and will make up any missed class work. They will miss 7th period and part of 8th period.
Denton Door Fundraiser:
Stanton Jr./Sr. High School will be having a fundraiser to raise money for Denton Roberts. The fundraiser will consist of filling your ‘door’ with dollar bills the week of December 12-16th. For each $1 a student brings, a fake dollar bill will be given to place on the door. Students are encouraged to bring more than $1 in order to reach the goal. The class(es) to reach their goal of filling their door to the designated amount (which has been equally set for each class) will be able to choose ONE class period to miss for the day. Students will be exempt from any assignments that will be handed out on the ‘skip period’, Tuesday, December 20th.
Mrs. Erickson and Mrs. Stephens will chaperone the class(es) that win the fundraising contest. Students will go to the Viking Center during the class period. Students may play games, hang out, etc. The winning class(es), is the class that reaches their designated amount first. If the winning class reaches and exceeds their goal, Mrs. Stephens and Mrs. Erickson will bring treats for the students to eat while at the Viking Center.
The winner will be announced at the basketball game on Friday, December 16th.
Stanton Clothing:
The Stanton Booster Club has ordered more Stanton clothing just in time for Christmas. Please stop by the elementary school office and take a look!! The Stanton Booster Club would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Thank you so much for all the support throughout the year!!
Santa Lucia Caroling:
All junior and senior girls who are participating in caroling for Santa Lucia should meet in the Halland Village Community Room immediately after school on Friday, December 9th to package cookies. The girls will then meet at the Halland Village Community Room at 8:00 on Saturday, December 10th to carol and deliver cookies plates. All girls should be dressed in their Swedish outfit.
