If you plan on eating lunch with your child at school you MUST pay for your lunch and receive a lunch ticket in one of the offices before going to the lunchroom.

Corner Conference Vocal Festival @ Fremont-Mills
November 14… This is a change of location from what was originally on the calendar, it will be at Fremont-Mills instead of Heartland Christian. Concert at 7:00.

Viking Center Youth Girls & Boys (Grades 3rd-6th) Basketball 2016/17
With volleyball and football seasons coming to an end, that means basketball is upon us. The Viking Center Youth Basketball season will start up at different times. Registration forms have been passed out at school, but they can also be found at the Viking Center, Stanton Schools Elementary Office, and on our website: www.stantonvikingcenter.com. Here is some information on each team:
- 5th/6th Grade Girls: The 5th/6th grade girls will be coached by Lacey Stephens, and will begin their season with practice Tuesday November 8th from 3:30pm-5:00pm. They will practice each Tuesday and Thursday throughout the season from 3:30pm-5:00pm. Registration forms for the 5th/6th grade girls are due by Friday November 11th.
- 3rd/4th Grade Girls: The 3rd/4th grade girls will be coached by Sally Stoakes, and will begin their season with practice on Wednesday November 16th from 3:30pm-5:00pm (Wednesday practices are ONLY on early dismissal Wednesdays). They will practice each early dismissal Wednesday from 3:30pm-5:00pm and Thursdays from 5:30pm-7:00pm. Registration forms for the 3rd/4th grade girls are due by Wednesday November 16th.
- 5th/6th Grade Boys: The 5th/6th grade boys will be coached by Jeff Grebin, and they will begin their season later in November/early December. Practice dates and times are TBD. Please turn in their registration forms by Wednesday November 16th.
- 3rd/4th Grade Boys: The 3rd/4th grade boys will be coached by Mark Johnson, and they will begin their season later in November/early December. Practice dates and times are TBD. Please turn their registration forms in by Wednesday November 16th.
Please watch for updates on practice dates and times for all teams. Please note that the coaches will be in contact with parents throughout the year for any changes with practices and the game schedule. The game schedule will be released after the scheduling meetings in December. Once we have figured out the gym schedule, we will let parents know.
