SCHOOL LUNCH CHANGE

If you plan on eating lunch with your child at school you MUST pay for your lunch and receive a lunch ticket in one of the offices before going to the lunchroom.

Cost of lunch is $4.00.

 

Basketball Results from Tuesday with Clarinda Academy:

The Stanton girls defeated Clarinda Academy 67-16 in Corner Conference girls play last night.

Four Viqueens finished in double figures: Chelsea Weis led Stanton with 20 points and 8 steals, Devin Druivenga added 15 points and 9 steals, Ally Focht scored 11 points and finished with 8 rebounds, and Jody Vanderholm added 10 points.  Nicole Graham also scored 6 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, while Savanna Moffett finished with 3 and Hallie Lancaster finished with 2.

They are now 4-3 on the season and 4-2 in conference play.

The boys score was Stanton 92 Clarinda Academy 35

Stanton made 10 3-pointers to improve to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in the Corner Conference. Brady Johnson had 26 points and five steals, Easton Blunt poured in 21 and David Sorensen added 16 points and eight steals.

 

Clover Kids:

The December meeting of the Clover Kids program (for grade K-3), which was scheduled for Thursday, December 17th, has been canceled.

Food Drive

    The Student Council would like to join the Elementary classes and have a Holiday Food Drive to help area families.  We want to have a contest for all K-12 classes, to see who can “rack up” the most points from now until December 18, 2015.  The following point system will allow us to see which class can earn the most points.  The class with the most points will earn a movie and pizza party in January!

Cereal, Peanut Butter, Toilet Paper, Laundry Detergent

                4 POINTS

Flour, Sugar, Spaghetti Sauce, Canned Meals (spaghettios, ravioli, stew, or chili) Soups, Canned Meats (chicken or tuna)               

3 POINTS

Hamburger/Tuna Helper, Macaroni and Cheese, Cake/Brownie/Muffin Mixes, Instant Mashed Potatoes, Beans, Oatmeal, Crackers, Rice, Paper Towels, Kleenex, Juice

2 POINTS

Dish Soap, Hand Soap, Body Soap, Shampoo, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Mouthwash, Pizza Sauce, Pasta, Pie Filling

1 POINT

Any other Canned Good (fruits and vegetables), boxed Jell-O, boxed Pudding
