SCHOOL LUNCH CHANGE

If you plan on eating lunch with your child at school you MUST pay for your lunch and receive a lunch ticket in one of the offices before going to the lunchroom.

Cost of lunch is $4.00

Congratulations to the Viqueens who placed fourth out of the nine teams in the Shenandoah tournament on Saturday.  The Queens are back in action this Thursday night as they travel to Farragut to take on the Blue Devils.

Junior High Volleyball game vs. Nishnabotna *Time Change*

September 17, 2015

The junior high volleyball game with Nishnabotna on Thursday, September 17th will now have a start time of 4:15 p.m.  The game will be held in Hamburg.  Junior varsity and varsity games that evening will be held in Farragut.

Senior Class Picture

There is a sign up in the high school office for the senior class picture.  Please sign up if you wish to purchase the portrait.  The 10 x 20 is $45.00 and payment is due by this Friday, September 18th.  Checks should be made payable to Strickland Photography.

Homecoming Fast Approaching

With homecoming fast approaching, there are lots of ideas being thrown around in each homeroom. Which Super Hero/Comic theme shall we go with? The Float competition will be at it's peak for humor, beauty, grand, and originality. Best use of costumes to go with the daily themes will also be awarded to one middle school and one high school student for the week. So get to putting together your best costumes. Here are the daily themes for 6th - 12th grade. Monday-Patriotic and camouflage, Tuesday-Super Hero/Comic Book Hero, Wednesday-Reality TV Show, Thursday-Gender Bender, and for the entire school... Friday is PURPLE DAY!

The Homecoming Pep Rally and Coronation will be held on September 24th at 7:00 PM. The parade is September 25th at 1:30 PM and the game against the Essex Trojans starts that evening at 7:00 PM.

The King and Queen Candidates are

Alex Becthold, Brady Johnson, Jacob Lindgren, Marcel Confer, Devin Druivenga, and Nicole Graham.

The Class representatives are:

Juniors: Ally Focht and Charlie Truka

Sophomores: Vivian Baucom and Austin Houston

Freshmen: Savanna Moffett and Matt Truka

The Flower Girl is Addie Peterson and the Crown Bearer is Nolan Case.

Stanton Betterment Association is hosting their 9th Annual Trick or Treat on the Trail!
