Football Action

Football tonight, the Vikes will host CAM at 7:00! Come on out and join us!

 

Supper Friday night

Montgomery County Memorial Hospital will be hosting a cookout tonight, Friday, September 11th before the CAM game. Supper will be provided in the cafeteria from 5:30pm-7:00pm. The meal includes grilled hot dog or hamburger, chips and a drink for a free-will donation. All proceeds will be donated back to the school. Make sure to leave supper up to MCMH tonight!

 

Congratulations

Congratulations to the junior high volleyball squad for their performance against Clarinda Lutheran/South Page yesterday.  Team 1 won 1 game and lost 1 game.  Team 2 won both of their games.  Keep up the good work!

 

The junior varsity squad posted all wins last night against South Page.  Game scores were 21-8, 21-7, 21-7 and 21-14.  Great job girls!

 

The varsity volleyball team won their match over the South Page Rebels last night.  Match scores were 25-11, 25-7 and 25-4.  The team is in action tomorrow at the Shenandoah tournament.

Junior Class Magazine Sales

The Junior Class Annual Magazine Fundraiser will be starting on September 17th! All members of the junior class are selling magazines subscriptions and renewals. We appreciate your continued support of this fundraiser and the proceeds will assist the juniors in planning the 2016 Jr/Sr Prom. Please contact the school at 829-2162 if you are interested in purchasing a subscription and are not contacted by a junior class student.

Homecoming

Homecoming preparations are underway for the 2015 school year. This year the parade theme is Super Hero/Comic Books and the dance theme is "Under The Sea"

The King and Queen Candidates are

Alex Becthold, Brady Johnson, Jacob Lindgren, Marcel Confer, Devin Druivenga, and Nicole Graham.

The Class representatives are:

Juniors: Ally Focht and Charlie Truka

Sophomores: Vivian Baucom and Austin Houston

Freshmen: Savanna Moffett and Matt Truka

The Flower Girl is Addie Peterson and the Crown Bearer is Nolan Case.

The Homecoming Pep Rally and Coronation will be held on September 24th at 7:00 PM. The parade is September 25th at 1:30 PM and the game against the Essex Trojans starts that evening at 7:00 PM.
