March Mayhem 2018
Mark your calendars. Stanton’s 16th Annual March Mayhem is planned for Friday, March 16 and Saturday, March 17. Come and enjoy our family-friendly atmosphere that has a tradition of good sportsmanship and FUN! You’ll get plenty of exercise in one or more of our fun activities, but if exercise and friendly competition is not your idea of fun, you could join the excitement as a spectator and satisfy your taste buds with smoked brisket sandwiches, Casey’s pizza, fresh baked goods, and many other mouthwatering food and drink items.
What activities will there be this year? Choose from 7 divisions of 3-on-3 basketball; 3 divisions of Co-ed Volleyball; 3 divisions of 3-Point shooting contests, a slam dunk contest, and Iowa’s Largest Dodgeball tournament. Yearbooks are on sale Now! Order your copy today, Find a Yearbook staffer or order online from https://www.stantonschools.com/ and click on the link for Jostens or simply scan the QR Code on the flyer! The book is sold at a cost of $60.
Regardless of which method you use to order, the book has lots of timeless moments that the staff has worked very hard on so don’t miss out on a great “CAPTURE THE MOMENT” book about Stanton High School. Last Day to Order is March 30!

Jostens will be here Wednesday to talk to your students about Class rings. They will return the next week on March 7 at 7:30 AM to collect orders.
Stanton area residents please help the community with a survey to determine the need and the possibility of a grocery
delivery system for Stanton.

...Shopping online for groceries allows people to save time and money. More and more grocers are now offering grocery delivery, too, adding even more convenience.
In many communities, grocery lockers are being used for these deliveries. The grocer simply delivers the products on a specified date, and the consumer picks them up in a locker. Consumers can order the full range of goods: Bakery goods, fresh produce, pantry staples, household and laundry supplies, frozen items, health and beauty products, and even items for pets.
The placement of grocery lockers in Stanton is being explored as part of the creative placemaking effort.
