HS FB w/East Mills Parents' Night 7:00
Parents Night for the Football Players and the Football Cheerleaders will be tonight Friday, August 26th. Pictures will start at 5:00. We will line up on the sideline of the football field for introductions before the game at 6:30.
Notes from Guidance Office!
High school students will have until Monday, August 29th to notify the office of changes to their schedules. They will need to have it approved by Mrs. Mainquist and then get a change of schedule sheet from the office. The classroom teachers and parents must sign this form. It must be returned to the office by Tuesday, morning at 8:10.
Students wishing to drop an online college class must do so by today, Friday, August 26.

Viking Center Flag Football 2016
The Viking Center flag football program will be entering our 3rd year this fall! We are looking to have two teams, one for grades 1st-3rd and one for 4th-6th (some 3rd graders may play up depending on numbers). This will be a 6 week program, with the first practice on Tuesday August 30th. Practices will be held each week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00pm-6:15pm. Games will be held on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons, depending on the opponent and where we will play. Details on the game schedule are TBD, but the games will be played here in Stanton at Anderson Park, Red Oak, and Villisca. Kids who are participating in flag football this year will have the opportunity to play at halftime of the varsity home game on Friday September 9th.
The t-shirts that have been used the past couple of years will be used again this year. The cost of the program for members will either be FREE if a shirt is not needed, or $10 if a shirt is needed. The cost for non-members is $30 if a shirt is not needed, or $40 if a shirt is needed. T-shirts will be used as jerseys for the kid’s to wear on game days.
The schedule will be coming soon as we approach our first practice. Registration forms can be found at the Viking Center and on our website at: www.stantonvikingcenter.com. Please return registration forms no later than Friday August 26th to the Viking Center OR Stanton Elementary Office. Shirts will be ordered on Monday August 29th, so please turn in forms ASAP. 5th Quarter
7-12th grade students are invited to 5th quarter after football game Friday night until 11 at Mamrelund Church basement.
