Vikings vs Rebels
Wow! What a great job! We were very proud of the team’s effort and their execution. They executed so many things so well, that I had planned to use some of the plays to teach teams in the future how to run them. Unfortunately, our video person didn’t press ‘record’. We are all frustrated we don’t have the 7-man win saved on dvd.,

Making it work with 7—Again!
The junior Vikes played well against Villisca and South Page with 7. Now it is time to find out how good we can execute with 7 against Essex. I feel better going into this game than last week having developed more confidence. Plus, we now have a plan in case of another setback. The kids would rather keep playing with 6 than to forfeit. I respect and admire their attitude, determination, and love of the sport.
One of our young men stayed home sick today. Please make sure they get enough sleep over the weekend, but stay active.
Make Up Game Status
The Sidney/Farragut JH team has turned their equipment. I am waiting to hear back from the following schools: Lenox, Coon-Rapids/Bayard, Exira, and East Union. It was interesting how many other small schools no longer have JH football. I hope to hear back from them by Monday’s Game so I get an announcement to the team.
