The numbers above indicate how many athletes were participating in practice this week.  Today, we could have up to 11 maximum; but practice hasn’t started yet.  Unfortunately, none of the numbers listed above is 12.  12 represents the number of players we have on our team lacking a season ending injury.  Our numbers at practice over the last 2 weeks have been lacking due to illnesses, detentions, grades, appointments, etc.  We have put in new plays on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball, so those who have missed practices MAY be sitting out unless they are in practice Friday to catch up on some of it.  Monday’s start could be a struggle similar to the game last week in College Springs.  I just hope we are able to rebound as well.  Essex will provide us more of a challenge in finding out what we are made of.  Regardless of how many players we have, we will compete to the best of our ability. 

AN UNBEATEN SEASON?

Despite the problems the low attendance creates, I am hoping we have 8 people healthy on Monday.  So, it is still possible!  We’ll find out Monday if we can still do it!
