| Background of Hamiltonia |
Reasons to visit Hamiltonia |
| Once upon a time, in a
land far, far away from the land in which you now live in, there was a boy
who's name will be kept anonymous. He was a boy who loved music...but one day,
something odd happened to him. He was playing... (well...attempting to
play...) the instrument which he loved to play (saxophone), and the sound
just didn't come out. He blew, and blew and blew...but not one sound.
He didn't know where the sound went. So, he went searching. He
searched many lands...but when he came to Hamiltonia (which was named after
him at a later time), he found a wise elder...(whose name is, at the time,
disclosed.) And said one word which would change his life forever.
"Stop." So...James...stopped. He stopped trying to play, and
invented Hamiltonia instead. But even with the discovery of Hamiltonia,
this boys satisfaction was not satisfied. He missed the everlasting
effort of trying to get that old piece of crab poo to make a sound.
So, again, he picked up the saxophone and tried, and tried, and tried to
make it make a sound, but it still did not sound. He didn't know where
the sound went, and sat down to think about it. Soon many people came
to visit Hamiltonia, and he asked every one of them if they could help him
find the sound. All knew nothing...until... I'm sorry, this story has been discontinued due to lack of imagination. (So many things in life disappoint you like this. Hamiltonia is just another one of those things. Please visit one of the other islands.) 1. It's a
great sight of ancient Egypt's history. 2. You get great bargains. 3. It has some good in-fashion clothes. (But only if you consider Stanton t-shirts and very much faded, very much holey blue jeans an "in-fashion" thing.) 4. We really don't know.
